MARCOPOLO BEGINS DELIVERY OF 45 100% ELECTRIC ATTIVI BUSES PRODUCED IN MEXICO

Monterrey, Mexico, September 30, 2024 - Marcopolo Mexico delivered the first 100% electric Attivi bus out of a total of 45 vehicles that will be supplied for public city transport in the city of Monterrey, in the state of Nuevo León, Mexico. The handover ceremony took place at the Government Palace of Nuevo León and was attended by Governor Samuel García.

We already produce and supply vehicles powered by renewable and sustainable fuels in several countries, such as Brazil, Australia, Chile, China and Uruguay, among others”, says André Armaganijan, CEO of Marcopolo.
The Marcopolo Attivi bus is one of the most modern in existence and the first fully produced in that country. The vehicles will be used in the Metrorrey transit system, which will promote a mobility plan to transform public transport in the Mexican city.
The 45 Marcopolo Attivi buses that will be supplied have a low-floor Yutong chassis 13 meters long and have an air conditioning system, a security monitoring camera and an access ramp for total accessibility.
